Situated on one of the slopes of Serra dos Gaiteiros, the Quinta da Escudeira Casa do Campo takes its name from the XVIII century Chapel adjoining the main house, alongside a swimming pool of ample size and a beautiful view over the valley.
On a craggy slope of rare beauty, it is a unique place of refuge for a weekend with nature or for a lengthier stay to enjoy the area’s potential to the utmost.
The Quinta is self-sustainable owing to the installation of photovoltaic panels for generating electricity and thermal solar panels for heating household water, with the resulting reduction in energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
The Casa de Campo has an en suite bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with twin beds, a living room with a sofa bed, and a kitchen and bathroom. The house has access to the deck and the pool. Air-conditioning, tv and wi-fi are available.
